Technical Information
Cretum ME-100 is a methyl endcapped nonionic surfactant with excellent wetting and detergency properties, exhibiting high biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity. Low foaming above its cloud point, and moderate foaming below, Cretum ME-100 exhibits exceptional color stability in alkaline solutions and when applied to solid caustic.
With its unique degreasing, wetting, dispersing, detergent and oil solubilizing properties, Cretum ME-100 is a unique multifunctional surfactant for use in wide range of products and applications including: water based degreasers, textile wetting, soil wetting, spray dried detergents, deinking, vehicle and household hard surface cleaners.
Use Cretum ME-100 as a standalone surfactant or with amphoteric, cationic and anionic surfactants. Use Cretum ME-100 as a grease cutting emulsifier in Degreasers, Pine Oil and d-Limonene Cleaners, and a road film breaking penetrating detergent in Vehicle Cleaners.
