Technical Information
GBS™ 443 WT is an EPA registered End-Use-Product (EUP) containing didecyldimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) in water. GBS 443 WT is used in controlling sulfate-reducing bacteria and slime forming bacteria in oil well applications, such as injection and waste water, transmission pipelines, storage wells and completion and workover systems. GBS 443 WT may also be mixed with PHMB. In wood preservation applications, GBS 443 WT is used alone or with other registered biocides for pressure, double vacuum and dip treatments, and for use in anti-sap stain treatment. Effective biocide for commercial water systems, including evaporative condensers, cooling towers, water scrubbers and once through cooling systems, and in the control of bacterial, fungal and algal slimes in swimming pools. For professional applicators, GBS 443 WT is used to prevent mold and mildew on roofs, siding, outdoor furniture and other exterior surfaces. Other applications include carpeting and drywall.
