Technical Information
Tamen Amine PA-14 is isodecyloxypropyl amine. Tamen Amine PA-14 is produced by the reaction of an aliphatic alcohol with acrylonitrile. This unique primary ether amine can be used as an additive or starting material for a range of derivative products. Ether amines as a class have excellent low temperature liquidity and unique metal chelation activity. Tamen Amine PA-14 is used in corrosion inhibitors, lubrication additives, fuel additives, and mineral flotation collectors. Tamen Amine PA-14 is also used as a starting material for the production of cationic and amphoteric surfactants, germicides & bactericides, leveling agents, wood preservatives, oil recovery agents, amine oxides, corrosion inhibitors and personal care/cosmetic ingredients.
