Technical Information
Tamen TM-18T is a 50% active, naturally derived mono-alkyl quaternary. With its unique emulsifying, dispersing, solubilizing and fabric softening properties, Tamen TM-18T is a versatile multifunctional product for use in wide range of functional applications that include: organoclays, paper chemicals, ore flotation and dewatering, textile and leather auxiliaries. Tamen TM-18T is an effective cationic corrosion inhibitor for use in oil and gas down hole applications. With excellent film-forming surface properties, Tamen TM-18T is adsorbed at the metal surface creating a diffusion barrier which is effective at reducing corrosion rate. In ore flotation applications, Tamen TM18T forms a monomolecular film on negatively charged particles, allowing air flotation separation.
