Technical Information
Valens AG-65L is a 72% active coco-glucoside, glyceryl oleate in water. Naturally plant derived, with high biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity, Valens AG-65L has been shown to reduce surfactant irritation, promote refatting of the skin, and function as a lipid layer strengthener. Derived from naturally renewable raw materials, through a combination of plant based fatty alcohols (coconut), glucose (corn starch), mono and diglycerides (sunflower oil), and corn sugar fermentation, Valens AG-65L exhibits demonstrable refatting effect after one application. Incorporating Valens AG-65L into Personal Care cleansers contributes a skin-smoothing effect without resulting in over-fatting, leaving a pleasant after-feel. In hair care products, use of Valens AG-65L can help retain moisture, condition and assist with detangling. Naturally sourced propanediol functions as an emollient, humectant, hand-feel modifier and solubilizer that also boosts resistance to microbial contamination.
