Velox AO-18S is a 28% active stearyl dimethylamine oxide in water, exhibiting viscosity building with foam stabilizing performance. Velox AO-18S is acid and base stable, compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants, and oxidizers ranging from peroxides to hypochlorite. The exceptional quality of Velox AO18S allows for use in a wide range of markets and applications.
Quality Dishwash Detergents utilize Velox AO18S for its viscosity building, grease emulsifying and rinsing performance. HI&I Cleaners formulations economically employ Velox AO18S for solvent and methyl ester emulsification, foam stabilizing and thickening. In Oil field applications, Velox AO18S is used as a flow enhancing drag reducer, viscoelastic thickener and anti-friction agent. In Personal Care product formulations, Velox AO-18S functions as a viscosity builder and conditioner, imparting a silky skin feel. Other applications include use as sizing agents, grinding aids and dispersion enhancers.
