Technical Information
Velox™ PE-P6 is a 100% active, acid form of a complex mixture of mono and di-phosphate esters of a 6 mole average phenol ethoxylate. Velox PEP6 exhibits outstanding compatibility in high electrolyte solutions and is an effective hydrotrope (solubilizer) with nonionic surfactants and solvents. Supplied in the free acid form, Velox PE-P6 is soluble in water, alcohols, glycol ethers, and xylene. Velox PE-P6 is a proven surfactant for use in textile wetting and in heavy duty alkaline cleaning formulations.
Velox PE-P6 is suggested for all types of household, building maintenance, sanitary and industrial cleaners including metal cleaners, floor cleaners, wax strippers, toilet bowl cleaners, oven cleaners, drain cleaners, and car washes. Alkalis and builders may be selected as desired, such as phosphate, silicate, carbonate, caustic or organic types. Other uses include plastics lubricants, dispersants, bleach formulations and peroxide stabilizers, pulp deresination, dedusting agents and corrosion inhibitors.
