Cetes S-120
Overview
- 20% active surface modifying polymer in water
- Forms a durable, colorless “self cleaning” hydrophilic barrier coating that protects surfaces from hydrophobic and oily soil build-up
- When formulated into hard surface cleaners such as bathroom glass cleaners, cleaned mirrors and glass surfaces resist fogging and spotting, surface spray and wipe cleaned surfaces resist static attraction dust build-up
- Potential applications include surface scale inhibition, pipeline friction and drag reduction, cooling tower slat treatment, and other water or oil transport surfaces
- Water soluble, stable in high or low pH formulations, meets all VOC regulations, and is freeze/ thaw stable in concentrate and formulations.

Technical Information
Cetes™ S-120 is a 20% active surface modifying polymer system designed to impart a clear, colorless, “selfcleaning” hydrophilic coating to treated surfaces. Cetes S-120 treated surfaces resist oily soil build-up by creating a strongly hydrophilic barrier that resists hydrophobic soil attraction such as greases, soap scum and dust.
Effective over the pH range <1 to 14, Cetes S-120 is well suited for use in a broad range of surface modification applications. When used on hard surfaces such as metals, piping and tubing, glazed ceramic tile, plastic, chrome, fiberglass, glazed porcelain, synthetic marble, painted surfaces, polished stone and glass, Cetes S-120 will create an “invisible barrier” that repels soils and protects against oily hydrophobic build-up.
