Salus™ AQ is a 75% active acetamidopropyl trimonium chloride humectant, conditioning and antistatic agent that imparts water binding moisturization activity in Personal Care formulations. Characterized by rapid absorption with excellent spreadability and non-tacky after feel properties, Salus AQ is a high performance Cosmetic Ingredient for use in a variety of cosmetic, hair and skin care formulations.
Salus AQ provides an alternative to glycerine and other traditional humectant ingredients, and may offer moisturization performance synergies. As a hair conditioning agent, Salus AQ provides exceptional wet comb and detangling performance, leaving an overall healthy hair silkiness. Compatible with a wide range of Cosmetic Ingredients, Salus AQ exhibits emulsion stabilization properties, with excellent color, pH and viscosity stability.
